Weather Policy

AMCC CRITERIUM SERIES.
 
The Criterium Series is managed and organised by the VLCC.
 
If the WeatherZone 3pm forecast for in Adelaide at 6pm on race day is 38C or above then racing will be cancelled. A notification that racing has been cancelled will be published on the VLCC FaceBook no later than 3:30pm.
 
Should other weather events (e.g. rain, wind, dust storms) be forecasted that suggest racing should be cancelled then a similar notification will be posted on the VLCC FaceBook no later than 3:30pm. NB. Should conditions change unexpectedly after 3:30pm but before or during racing then the racing may be cancelled at short notice. 
 
OTHER EVENTS MANAGED BY THE VLCC (Club, Open, and Invitation).

CONCLUSION
 
Notwithstanding the above policy riders should always take into account their own general level of fitness, physical capabilites, and preparedness (e.g. adequate amounts of drinking water) when riding and racing in any conditions (e.g. Google "hot weather cycling").
