Should you own one of the Red standard transponders with the VLCC 5 year guarantee period (and not the Prochip transponders offered for sale with a 1 year licence from 1 April 2016) and your transponder becomes faulty within your personal "5 year guarantee period", or you wish to return it for a refund, the following rules apply:
Note: Calculation of any refund due, if required, will commence from date of issue (your anniversary date) and will be based on a calendar year of 365 days. Â Please refer to the "Anniversary Date" page for more information, if required.

Note: As Mylaps have introduced the Prochip Flex, the VLCC are no longer be selling Mylaps transponders to members with a 5 year guarantee period. Â
However, you can purchase a Mylaps Prochip transponder with a 1 year licence, or alternatively you can buy a Mylaps Prochip transponder with a longer licence period (1, 2 and 5 year licences are offered) via the Mylaps website. Â
